Care Instructions

Our products are made from Imported Italian Polyester and Nylon Lycra fabric.

These fabrics contain XTRA LIFE LYCRA® fiber technology which has a UPF rating of 50+, greater shape retention and durability and this quick-dry fabric has five times the chlorine resistance of standard elastane/spandex.

Our prints are all digital sublimation printed, here in Australia on the Matt Polyester Lycra and our plain styles are constructed from Matt Nylon Lycra.

XTRA LIFE LYCRA® fiber makes a difference to the performance and lifespan by combating the effects of chlorine. Chlorine deteriorates fibers and fabrics, affecting the longevity of swimwear, but XTRA LIFE LYCRA® fiber resists chlorine and other pool chemicals five times longer than unprotected elastane/spandex, allowing garments to keep their shape.

STEP 1
Put it on! Enjoy them at the beach or pool, but avoid hot tubs for extended use.

STEP 2
Watch where you sit and avoid sitting on rough surfaces. Once a swimsuit is snagged it cannot be repaired.

STEP 3
Always rinse your swimwear in cool tap water straight after each use. This will remove most of the chemicals, sand & body oil that may harm the fabric. Even though your HVNC swimwear is five times more chlorine resistance than your standard elastane/spandex swimmers, it is important to rinse straight away, to maintain the longevity of your swimwear. Sunscreen lotions and chlorine can affect the fabric, if your swimwear is not properly cared for.
STEP 4
After rinsing your swimwear, you must hand wash with mild liquid detergent in luke warm water in a sink. Use half a tablespoon of mild liquid detergent, preferably suitable for swimwear, swish around for several minutes then rinse well. Gently squeeze - don't wring the water out of the fabric. For those who prefer to machine wash, placing the swimsuit in a mesh washing bag or pillowcase helps minimize the risk that the suit will tear, stretch, or twist around the machine or another article of clothing. Wash the suit on the delicate, cold cycle, together with a pair of towels or other delicates to help protect the suit from over-agitation.

STEP 5
Air dry flat out of direct sunlight. Never use a dryer.
